Spire Academy

Spire is renowned for offering leadership, communication, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork in addition to global knowledge. They strike a balance between their day-to-day goals and their academic, professional, and career ambitions by providing resources and learning opportunities that foster personal development and the drive to push oneself. With the help of the college and career placement team, they encounter and recognize professional and career development opportunities. Students can join hundreds of peers in elite university courses around the United States of America and receive the best exposure to the collegiate coaching network.

These students demonstrate that Spire offers much more than only sports, despite its outstanding and distinctive sports facilities. This academy prepares postgraduate and high school students for both professional and personal life situations by providing them with the necessary tools and training to see possibilities where there may be hurdles.

It is made possible by Spire Academy’s four pillar programs, which include academics for five hours a day and sports for four hours, including lacrosse, swimming, basketball, soccer, and esports. Academics are integrated with track and field, job exploration for one hour each week, and daily personal skill development.

Pupils can choose from a variety of courses that connect course material and let them realize how what they learn in class is applied in the real world through integrated projects.

World history, English, science, math, health, world language, and fine arts are among the courses offered in this curriculum; electives, seminars, and workshops are used to teach the material. In order to show students how experiences from other domains are integrated, career exploration is also linked to the curriculum. Through the courses that Spire Academy offers, students can discover their passion. Students at Spire Academy can also choose to pursue self-directed online learning through online programs.

Sports amenities and Super boarding for the serious athletes

When someone visits SPIRE’s unique campus, they can be impressed by the sporting facilities. 2012 saw the completion of 7,50,000 square feet of amenities, which allowed the program to accommodate many Division 1, II, and III athletes.

National championships in track, field, and swimming are additional championships/competitions. In 2019, a new individual acquired SPIRE, contributing to the realization of a larger vision.

SPIRE Academy is a fully approved boarding and day high school that prepares students for college. Its year-round sports camps now offer a wider range of activities, seven sports majors (basketball, track, basketball, soccer, swimming, e-sports, wrestling, lacrosse, and women’s basketball), non-sports majors, and sports-related courses. Moreover, it has attracted corporations to campus as well as colleges and universities.

The gifts are still available. High school students and postgraduates from the SPIRE academy may enroll in classes at Kent State University or KSU. The academy intends to have a partnership with Kent State University by 2023 that will enable SPIRE students to complete a two-year associate degree at Kent State concurrently with receiving their high school diploma.

Spire also provides boarding facilities that enable them to achieve their objectives: Seven modular homes totaling 2350 square feet, each with two rooms and three full bathrooms, can house 12 students. Each home contains a separate apartment for the house head, complete with a small kitchen that students are allowed to use, a student lounge, laundry facilities, and a large-screen TV.

One of the largest outdoor sports complexes in the world, as well as an Olympic-caliber indoor facility, can be found on the campus. Other amenities include golf courses, an eSports lab, a hotel, a cross-country track, disc golf, and soon, eateries.

Spire Academy, a privately owned sports boarding school with top-notch training programs, is the preferred choice for dedicated athletes looking for a competitive environment to get ready for the next level of competition. Spire is an owner-managed school with up to 228 pupils on staff. This indicates a student-to-teacher and coach ratio of 4-5, compared to other reputable sports boarding schools where the ratio is 15–17 for each coach.
