Serbia failed to go past the group stage in either of the two World Cups in which they have competed. They have only managed two victories, which gives players like Vlahovic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Tadic, Jovic, and Mitrovic a lot of incentive to stand out. They frequently give in to pressure on big occasions, yet they may be a World Cup shocker. DRAGAN STOJKOVIC Coach make best Serbia Squad FIFA World Cup 2022
Since 2010, Serbia has established themselves as a reliable World Cup contender, and Qatar 2022 will be their third involvement in the previous four competitions.
Dragan Stojkovic also becomes their third World Cup manager, as their history of firing coaches shows no signs of abating.
Serbia made a strong impression throughout qualifying, beating Portugal to the top spot in Group A. They will have to fight to advance from Group G of the competition, as Switzerland and Cameroon, two seasoned competitors, want to contend with Brazil for a place in the round of 16.

To give crucial players ample time to heal from injuries, Stojkovic postponed the unveiling of his roster.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, a star midfielder for Lazio, was Stojkovic’s main concern, but the 27-year-old is selected ahead of their November 1 exhibition match against Brazil in Qatar.

Serbia best player, strengths & weaknesses
Aleksandar Mitrovic, one of the top international goal scorers now on exhibit in Qatar, will be the man to lead Serbia’s World Cup assault.
The Fulham player will be crucial for Serbia since his goals have frequently determined their fate, but Stojkovic is well-stocked in the midfield thanks to a solid partnership between Nemanja Gudelj and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Stars
In Qatar, Mitrovic will receive the most of the spotlight, but his offensive teammates have a much better future than he does.
Following an ordeal at Real Madrid, Luka Jovic is beginning to revive his Serie A career, with Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic one of the most deadly attackers in Italian football at the moment.
Weaknesses
Milinkovic-Savic will be under a lot of pressure to guide Serbia’s midfield, but the Lazio star has historically had trouble translating his club form to the international stage, and there is a glaring lack of movement in the area behind him.
Serbia World Cup group
Brazil look well placed to ease out of Group G, and on into the knockout stages, leaving a likely three-way battle for the other last-16 place.
There is little to separate Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon, based on experience, but they will all be confident of having an edge.
