The squad will make their premiere in a brand-new limited-edition outfit created in conjunction with Spotify.
The Spotify logo has been on the Barcelona Ovo Drake Jersey since the club hired the streaming service as a sponsor in March, but that is about to change. After seeing it on Instagram, fans are anxious to learn how to purchase the new garment so they may wear a Barcelona jersey with rapper Drake’s symbol on the front.

Barcelona and Spotify announced on October 14 that Drake will be the first artist to appear on their jersey due to his 50 billion Spotify streams. According to FC Barcelona vice president for marketing Juli Guiu, for the first time in the club’s history, the name of their principal sponsor will be replaced on the front of the shirt by a globally recognized singer, Drake.
This effort demonstrates their ability to grow into a distinct platform that allows them to connect with fans while also reaching out to new global audiences, according to Guiu. Players will warm up for the El Clásico match wearing practice jerseys with the word “50” on the back to honor Drake for becoming the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on the streaming service.

Drake shared an Instagram snapshot of the garment and told fans that it “doesn’t seem genuine.” The October’s Very Own (OVO) owl will be featured on the front of the Barcelona Ovo Drake Jersey, a symbol that has come to signify the artist Drake and his apparel label.
