Magpie Games has revealed the release date for their tabletop roleplaying game Avatar Legends, as well as pre-order, game expansions, and gameplay features.
Avatar Legends is a tabletop roleplaying game based on the worlds of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.

The game spans five distinct historical periods, with players taking on the roles of martial artists, technology specialists, or benders.
Avatar Legends Release Date And Pre-order
Avatar Legends pre-orders began earlier this week. While digital versions of the Core Rulebook will be available on October 26, physical copies will be available on January 25, 2023.
Magpie Games will issue two publications at first: the Core Rulebook and the Wan Shi Tong’s Adventure Guide. The books provide five new adventures and various new character possibilities to gamers.
Both digital and physical pre-orders are currently available. Magpie Games also revealed that an unique Avatar Legends Starter Set would be available at Target in Q1 2023.
Avatar Legends was first launched by Magpies Games in 2021, with a successful Kickstarter garnering over $9.5 million.
The game’s producers have announced various additions, including sourcebooks for Republic City and The Spirit City. The Republic City sourcebook will be released in the summer of 2023 by the developers.
Gameplay Features
Avatar Legends employs the Powered by the Apocalypse gaming system, in which players create their own character by following a playbook.
Each character has unique skills, and gameplay and progression revolve around achieving a character’s inner balance.
Various characters from the Avatar franchise appear as Legends in the game and can teach wisdom to the players as well as function as friends or opponents depending on the scenario.
Avatar Legends will support stories from the Avatar franchise’s five main periods. Avatar authors Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino will also contribute a ton of additional backstory for the Roku era.
