ASIA CUP 2022 dates has been changed and the venue also shifted from Sri Lanka to United Arab Emirates as per the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
The Asia Cup 2022 schedule and final date of the tournament have been announced. Asia Cup Will Begin From 27 August To 11 September.
15th edition of the Asia Cup cricket tournament, with the matches being played as Twenty20 Internationals. Total 6 Team will participate in asia cup 2022 which include India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are the 5 confirmed teams so far. UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Hong Kong will be playing a Qualifier for the 6th spot in Asia Cup 2022.
Asia Cup will be a opportunity for asian cricket team, to prepare for T20 World Cup in Australia take place later in this year.

Asia Cup History
It was established in 1983 When the ACC ( Asian Cricket Council) was founded to promote goodwill between asian countries. The Asia Cup is a men’s One Day International & Twenty20 International. The Asia Cup is only continental championship in cricket and the winning team become the champions of Asia.
The first Asia Cup was held in 1984 in Sharjah in the UAE. Most successful Team in Asia Cup Tournament is India. India Won 7 titles in the Asia Cup History. Current Champion of Asia Cup is India.
Asia Cup 2022 Groups
The teams will divided into two groups Group A & Group B.Group A consisted of India, Pakistan and Qualifier while Group B had Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan
Asia Cup Format
As per the format is concerned, each team played the other in the same group once. The top two teams from each group will qualified second stage, called the Super Four. The four teams in that stage played each other once before the top two teams qualified for the final.
