On Monday night, TCU Horned Frogs women’s basketball team met the George Washington Colonials, winning 70-58. When two players started punching each other during the second quarter, the game quickly fell into disarray.
About halfway through the quarter, TCU’s Bella Cravens collected a rebound, and George Washington’s Essence Brown briefly became entangled in Cravens’ hair while stealing the ball. Cravens attempted to call a hard foul after objecting. The whistle blew, and words were spoken. As teammates attempted to break up the altercation, Cravens went at Brown and started throwing blows.
